Intro

Hi there! My name is Emlyn, an Australian currently living in Paris. I’m a quantum research software engineer, physicist and nuclear specialist. I dabble a lot, but my main interests are in quantum information, nuclear non-proliferation and emerging technology governance (particularly AI).

This is the first post on my newly revamped website. I have had a rough-and-ready one for several years now, where I had intended to post a bit more about my Masters research, hobby projects and general musings. While that didn’t pan out for a variety of reasons, now that I am back working in research, actively working on projects and looking for new ones, I have taken the time to revamp this site.

In the coming weeks and months, I will be posting on here about my activities in quantum information, technical AI governance, and a potpurri of other topics that have sat in my draft writing backlog. Stay tuned!

Aside As the most technically complex subject, expect to wait a bit longer for any posts on quantum information.
